It was a great time at the Valentine’s Day inspired Romance & Finance Workshop held on the 12^th of February 2016 . Participants networked whilst nibbling on canapes and cocktails and also played some fun games before the personal finance workshop with Nimi Akinkugbe commenced.

Participants at the event:

1. Learned some strategies for coping with money matters in relationships
2. Got insights into their money personalities and their partners’ too
3. Understood the basics of Personal Financial Management from both individual and joint perspectives.

Some of the participants also won prizes such Nimi’s book, A-Z of Personal Finance and the Monopoly Board Game by Bestman Games Ltd.

It was most gratifying to see singles who came to learn about some of the financial challenges that occur in relationships, engaged couples learning how to navigate their finances as they prepare to embark on life’s journey together, and married couples building a solid foundation of financial security together.
