The Bestman Games group has organised a programme in conjunction with the Faculty of Environmental Sciences for a full day lecture on Real Estate and Personal Finance tips for students of the institution. The event concluded with an intra-departmental Monopoly tournament amongst students.
Bestman Games partnered with ELALAN constructions, Heritage Bank, The Daisy Management Centre, Rise Network, The Sheet, and Money Matters With Nimi and Lamudi. The event had three sessions focusing on finance and Real Estate.
The first lecture was by Mrs. Ibiai Ani, Managing Consultant of the Daisy Management; who spoke on identifying your talent and the importance of internships. Mrs. Nimi Akinkugbe, CEO Bestman Games and Money Matters with Nimi, gave a lecture on personal finance tips. Mr. Adekunle Yinka, of ELALAN Construction, spoke on Real Estate, Building, Quantity Survey, Urban and Regional Planning and Mr. Fela Ibidapo of Heritage Bank PLC., gave a lecture on banking tips. There were questions and answer session between speakers and students.

An exciting Monopoly Tournament commenced after the lecture. A total of 50 students from the faculty participated with an audience of over 300 students. Three winners were awarded the grand prize of internships at ELALAN Constructions.
The City of Lagos Monopoly boards were distributed to all the participants of the Monopoly tournament and the first 50 students in attendance.
According to the organisers, as brand, Bestman Games is committed to promoting personal finance literacy from an early age and the need to encourage strong family ties and cordial relationships in a conducive and friendly environment through bonding activities, hence, our choice of the Monopoly board game.
The Monopoly board game is a trading property game owned by Hasbro, Bestman Games has the license to produce and customize editions of Monopoly across 48 African countries. We have launched the City of Lagos Edition of Monopoly and the Nigeria Centenary Edition of Monopoly.
